Terms of Service

Rules that apply when customers, business owners and staff use Booker.
Effective date: 20 July 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of Booker. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. Provide accurate information, keep your mobile number secure and do not share OTPs or staff access PINs. You are responsible for activity under your account and must notify Booker Support of suspected unauthorised use.

3. Booker’s role

Booker is a technology marketplace that helps customers discover and book independent beauty and wellness businesses. Unless expressly stated, Booker does not own, employ, control or provide the listed services and is not a party to the service performed between a customer and a business.

4. Customer bookings

5. Business owners and staff

Business owners are responsible for the accuracy of listings, licences, registrations, staff authority, qualifications, hygiene, safety, services, prices, taxes, offers, opening hours, customer communications and performance of appointments. Owners must protect staff PINs and ensure staff use Booker only within their authority.

6. Prices, offers and platform fees

The booking screen shows the applicable service amount, discounts, platform fee and total before confirmation. Eligibility, limits and validity dates apply to offers and referral rewards. Discounts have no cash value, cannot be transferred unless stated, and may be removed for misuse, duplicate accounts, self-referrals, cancellation or fraud.

7. Payments

Booker supports cash payment and secure online payment processed by Razorpay. The complete amount shown in the booking is charged once. Booker verifies the payment with Razorpay before recording it as paid or completing the appointment; a screenshot or client-side success message alone is not proof of payment. Booker does not receive your UPI PIN, full card number or bank password. Payment methods, availability, settlement timing, refunds and chargebacks are subject to Razorpay, participating banks or networks, the business’s policy and applicable law. Where Booker facilitates collection or settlement, the displayed platform fee and other applicable charges form part of the total accepted before payment.

8. Reviews and content

You retain ownership of content you submit but grant Booker a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format and display it for operating and promoting the Service. Content must be truthful, relevant and lawful and must not violate privacy, intellectual property or other rights. Booker may moderate or remove content and fake or manipulated reviews.

9. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service, impersonate others, scrape data, interfere with security, upload malicious code, make fraudulent bookings, manipulate offers or reviews, harass users, conduct unlawful activity, or access accounts or data without permission.

10. Third-party services

The Service may rely on or link to Razorpay, payment apps, banks, maps, operating-system services and other third parties. Their terms and privacy practices apply separately, and Booker is not responsible for third-party availability or conduct.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Booker or delete your account at any time. Booker may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, suspected fraud, legal compliance, serious or repeated breach, or protection of users. Account deletion does not remove obligations or liabilities that arose earlier.

12. Service availability and disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Booker does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, a particular business result, service quality, provider suitability, exact location, availability or error-free information. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Booker is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss, loss of profits or data, or the acts, omissions, services or payment disputes of independent businesses or third parties. Any mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

14. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, business owners and other users agree to be responsible for claims, losses or costs arising from their unlawful conduct, content, breach of these Terms, or infringement of another person’s rights.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The parties should first attempt to resolve disputes through Booker Support. Subject to mandatory consumer law, unresolved disputes will be handled by courts of competent jurisdiction in India.

16. Changes, severability and contact

We may update these Terms and will update the effective date or provide notice where required. Continued use after an update means acceptance to the extent allowed by law. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. Questions can be submitted through Profile → Help and support.

Until dedicated public contact details are published, registered users can reach Booker through Profile → Help and support in the mobile application.

Public operator details pending: the registered business name, postal address, support email, support phone and jurisdiction city must be configured before payment-gateway website review.
